LIMESTRONG PIGMENTS

The Limestrong Color System is made of up of eight (8) core colors in powdered pigment form. Make use of our color system in one of three ways:

Pick a Color from our Standard Color Palette. The swatch grid below displays a curated palette of our most popular colors. Clicking on a color swatch reveals the amount of color pigment needed (by weight; in grams) per 32 lb. bag of Limestrong Build Finish or 10 lb. bag (makes 5 gallons) of Limewash. Then use our online calculators to determine how many pigment packs of the selected color to order for the total bags of finish plaster (or limewash) the job requires.

See the relevant LSB Publications for instruction on mixing in color pigments[XR1]. Unless a physical swatch sample of the color is ordered, it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that a test batch is mixed and applied to a practice panel and allowed to cure to ascertain the final color result. The on-screen color swatches below are NOT intended to provide an accurate indication of what the final mixed, applied, and cured color will be.

Acquire a digital kitchen/food scale[1] that weighs in grams to consistently measure the dry pigments batch to batch.

Use Our Custom Color Service. Limestrong offers a custom color formulation service. Download the Custom Color Service Guide for more information.

Formulate your own Custom color. The Limestrong Build Color System is quite versatile, offering shade variations based on single core colors as well as blended color possibilities. Download the Custom Color Formulation Guide for instructions.
